Chanting lifts the spirit and reconnects us to our heart centre. It's a well-known fact that singing mantras has a very positive impact on mental health, by reducing the levels of stress. Join us for this amazing, uplifting, and joyful singing meditation known as kirtan. Mantras are sung in a mixture of Sanskrit - which is an ancient Indian language with a high vibration and also some English. No previous experience in Sanskrit or singing required...all are welcome. Singing Mantras are from the path of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion, pure love and compassion ..... especially for yourself) They produce healing vibrations that take you out of your busy mind and connect you to your heart. This can create oneness with those around you and integrate your mind, body and spirit. Heal, relax and re-energise through the power of sharing your authentic voice. The invitation is to sing, play percussion, meditate, dance or just bathe in the sounds.

Originally from an opera and musical theatre background, Michelle embarked on an amazing journey of self-discovery through bhakti yoga and sound healing. She fell in love with the practices many years ago and hasn't looked back since. Michelle is a multi-instrumentalist and a versatile singer who originally began as a kirtan drummer and backing vocalist. She then achieved her dream of composing and recording an album of mantras, titled Journey of The Heart. Michelle loves to teach, lead kirtans, hold sound healing and ecstatic drum dance events, and has never been more fulfilled. She loves to take people on a magical, healing journey through using her voice and intuitive music, and is grateful she has found her soul purpose.

Cacao is chocolate in its rawest, purest form, grown for ceremonial purposes, and known for its heart-opening warmth and sacred properties. Drinking Cacao is like being wrapped in the arms of our mother, her spirit is gentle and reassuring enabling you to dissolve any barriers to tune into your feeling heart. Cacao is a plant medicine and should be honoured with ritual, that’s how you get the most from her. Considered a superfood, cacao is rich in minerals and vitamins and a magic ingredient theobromine, which connects you to your heart and awakens intuition.
Contraindications*
Ceremonial doses of Cacao are not recommended for:
▪︎Those who take antidepressants (Cacao contains MAOI inhibitors),
▪︎Those who have a serious heart condition or takes heart medication,
▪︎Those who have high blood pressure or have epilepsy.
▪︎ Pregnant women should take a smaller, lower dose. If you’re unsure, please consult your doctor for professional advice. In parts of the world where cacao is used as medicine, it is given to mothers directly after birth as a blessing ritual and to help her regain strength and iron levels after birth.
